I have been following the news provided by your esteemed forum regarding the changes in the DR. It was observed that DR relief of 67 slabs for the period Feb to July 2013 and another 58 slabs for August 2013. was given to pensioners retired between 1997 to November 2002. I however find that my pension received in the month of August has gone up from Rs. 24452.00 since the month of January 2013 to about Rs. 25150.00. As the DR is about 13% increase why has not my pension gone by accordingly. Or have I made any calculation error? Please advice.

the gross pension depends on your Basic Pension and the date of your retirement. But you have not stated what is your basic pension.the figures of gross pension given by you altogether lead to different results.
since you got Rs 25150 as gross pension in aug 13, it may be guessed that your basic pension is near about 9040 apporx.but on this figure your pension in July 13 should be near 23890,not 24452.the difference can not be reconciled unless you give the exact date of retirement and the Basic pension. and then proceed. find the details from the pension desk.
